We would love to honor Stanley Zeglin for his sacrifice on June 13th 1944. He was just 21, an age where no life should be lost. When he died He was still a Private First Class, just a soldier to the general public but every man and women who lost their live in this horrific event died for a cause that did not go to waste. He was honored with a purple heart (a military decoration for those wounded or killed in action). Stanly's legacy survived through his father, mother, and both sisters. His brother Joseph also passed fighting in the war.

This is the Normandy American Cemetery located in France and it is where all soldiers who's next of kin decided form this to be their final resting place. Each grave is for one soldier and for those who's body's were never found they have a wall with all of the name on it.
Stanly Zeglin is buried in Plot F, Row 14, Grave 28

This is a map of how the cemetery is laid out and where each plot is.

this is what the grave were to look like if you went into the cemetery as opposed to the arial view where each grave appears much closer to one another.
